I used the IMBD website (IMBD.com) in order to find a list of the top 21 highest grossing films within the Romantic comedy genre. I found out by looking at this list that most of the films covers had the female as the more dominant character on the film covers.
So these screenshots explain how the films have been ranked according to the highest grossing:
