- A film trailer is an advertisement or a commercial for a feature film that will be exhibited in the future at a cinema. It is usually played before the start of another film.
Most film trailers consist of:
- Various shot types, edits, voice overs, sound effects, non diegetic and diegetic sounds, mise en scene, a detailed synopsis, locations, characters, shots/angles and cinematography. Most romantic comedy films include high key lighting with bright and vibrant colours due to the fact that rom coms are mostly upbeat and humorous films. Most romantic comedy trailers also consist of a male and female couple.
- My trailer is going to include detail synopsis, locations, characters, cinematography, shots/angles,Various shot types, edits, voice overs, sound effects and mise en scene. It is also going to include a male and female actress and about 5 other actors to use as extras. It is mostly going to have high key lighting throughout and the background score is going to be upbeat.
