When it comes to the makeup for my trailer I intend to use a modern makeup technique called, highlighting and contouring. This is where you give the face an illusion that it has changed shape, for example you can create the effect of a slimmer nose or a defined chin by simply applying a light foundation to the areas you want to enhance and a darker foundation to the areas of the face that you want to reduce, such as the cheekbones. I intend to find a youtube video explaining how to highlight and contour so that I can follow step by step instructions to ensure that I get the technique correct.
I have noticed that the trend is used on actresses. Here is an example, Blake Lively with highlight and contoured makeup to enhance her features.
